Hello from Keesler AFB in Biloxi, MS. I am at my phase II location and have been graced with a bit of a vacation before the work starts tomorrow. I have been here since Wednesday and although I spent part of my 4th traveling, the second half of it was great. The dorms I am staying at are a 5 minute walk from the beach so the other 3 people I came with and I walked down and watched fireworks once it got dark. There is a 16 mile stretch of beach and there were fireworks going of down the entire strip. The grand finale was one of the casinos had a 22 minute display with music. It was absolutely the most AWE-some sight that I have ever seen (all the while standing in the Gulf of Mexico).

The weekend prior, my group of friends and I drove to Corpus Christi for one last hurrah since we were split up between FL, CA, TX, and MS. We had a great time on South Padre beach during the day and enjoying the nightlife at night. I had my first experience with eating crawfish, and to my delight, found some Abita beer :)

On to the other side of the Gulf now and the water is warm and wonderful. It appears that I have taken more videos than pictures of the water so far in Mississippi but since I go to the beach everyday, I'm sure I'll get some to post soon.

I have a poor internet connection here as well, I was trying to upload pictures from graduation but it is just too slow and connectivity keeps cutting out. I will attempt to make a Snapfish account and post the link to it later but now is time to head to the beach with a good book.

More to come!!
